For most of us, getting fixes for loosing the web based version of Smart Graphics is a higher priority. Since we're half way through Nov already, I'm going to go out on a limb, and say "probably not".

Soon they'll have CH5 mobility version of the app too, I'm sure, adding to the count. :( I stopped trying to make sense of what they were doing with the apps a long time ago, it's hard enough to remember what ones do what and which is the current correct one to get and use for the platform I'm working with. Now they've just gone nuclear, with the "you buy the app, AND, you can pay us a monthly rent for using it" model. Then last year, with the whole, we broke the Mobile App, sorry, instead of rolling back, we will just kill it at the store, breaking 1000's of systems out there in the wild, and you can buy a NEW app to replace it, but it's shinier than the last one!". You don't know how many customers I've had that purchase the wrong app, even though I tell them the exact name they need. They've abandoned half of those at this point now, at least. How many apps have there been now for what is essentially the same function? I can count at least 7 or 8 (if you include the free 'crippled' versions). I guess they rather come out with a new app every 6 months and force everyone over to it, and abandon the old ones. Sounds like Crestron wants to kill of Mobile Pro G and the likes. And why make the USB enforce authentication too? At least least have the option to turn off security on the USB port. It will definitely be an issue when the client calls someone else in to maintain the system. I see big problems in the future when some tech updates the firmware, is force to make a username/password, that tech fails to document it, leaves the company, and now no one can access the system again. Any other OS you can use a mix of SSL and non-SSL connections. Why is Crestron so bent on forcing SSL - or at least the all or none policy with SSL. I think there is an even bigger question.
But I would much rather they say you have to give us another $100 if you want us to continue supporting Crestron Mobile G for so many years. No, it sounds more like Crestron wants to kill support for Crestron Mobile Pro. The TPMC10 also only supports WEP encryption which is essentially no encryption at all. Even if it doesn't support the latest versions of SSL, I highly doubt the TPMC10 supports the same level of SSL (if it even supports SSL) - yet it is supported. Later in the same OLH they say Crestron Mobile Pro supports SSL.
